Tammy Denise Jacobs-Nnamani was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Marvin Jacobs and Williette Jacobs-McCraw.
Tammy received parochial education during her elementary and high school years. After graduating from Mercy High School, she attended Arkansas College in Batesville, Arkansas as a biology major. In her sophomore year, she moved to Little Rock, Arkansas to continue her education. While living in Little Rock she worked for the Federal Home Loan Bank, which relocated her to the great State of Texas. During her time here in Texas she was married and to that union, a daughter, the love of her life Chinasa Jillian Nnamani was born.
Tammy continued her education and received her B.S. Degree in Rehabilitation Science from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas and went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Business Management from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. Tammy most recently completed course work for licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator with plans to own and operate a skill nursing facility (Bethesda Haven).
Tammy has spent the last twenty-five years working and educating persons with disabilities in vocational services and counseling. She has owned and operated a community-based Social Service Agency for 15 years that assist clients with vocational needs and counseling.
Her areas of expertise and instruction include job application training, resume development, interviewing skills training, job seeking skills training, job placement, effective Customer Service Techniques, and effective Business Writing.
As an entrepreneur, she has owned and operated a Drug & Alcohol Training Center, licensed by TEA and ROI.PROs a medical record retrieval company, a Medicaid certified as a Non-Medical Transportation Provider, a Local Mental Health provider and credentialed under Molina, Superior and Amerigroup Healthcare systems as a provider and is a Certified Notary.
